Landscapes

Landscape has long been a central focus of my work. I am interested in how we live in it, engage with it, use and shape it – and how it shapes us in return.

This relationship has two sides. One is visible: in the traces and layers of its history and human use. The other is less tangible – landscape as identity and Heimat, memory and longing, orientation and measure. The images seek this connection.
